What we do
We publish educational content about drain and sewer problems, and we operate a service-request form. When a request comes in, we review it and, when an appropriate participating provider is available for the area and service type, we route the request to that independent business. The provider then contacts you directly to discuss the situation, scheduling, and pricing.
What we do not do
- We do not perform plumbing, drain cleaning, sewer, excavation, inspection, or repair work.
- We do not employ technicians or operate service vehicles.
- We do not set, quote, or collect payment for any service.
- We do not guarantee that a provider will be available, respond within a certain time, or accept a job.
- We do not warrant or supervise any provider's work.
How the business works
NJ Drain Connect may receive compensation from participating providers in connection with referrals. This does not change the price you pay a provider, which is set by the provider. We do not publish reviews, ratings, or testimonials unless they are real and verified; at this time we publish none.
Where we operate
Our initial focus is Union County, New Jersey, beginning with Linden. We plan to expand to additional New Jersey communities over time.
Verifying a provider yourself
New Jersey requires plumbing contractors to hold a state license. Before hiring anyone, you can verify a license through the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs and ask the provider for proof of insurance. We encourage you to do so regardless of how you found the provider.
